DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 757 is a small model of a Watt steam engine constructed around 1800 in London by W. Wilson. The base of wood is painted white and marked to resemble a brick wall. The mechanical part is made of brass while the boiler has the upper part in brass and the lower in sheet metal. It has a furnace fueled by alcohol and a Watt speed regulator (governor). The model is well conserved and should with minor maintenance be able to operate.ISCRIZIONI
