DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 583 is a large Ruhmkorff spark coil mounted on a wood base about 10 cm high. The coils are enclosed in a Bakelite cylinder and the frequency can be adjusted by a screw where the primary circuit is interrupted. A typical application was the generation of X-rays using a Roentgen tube as illustrated in figure 1. The primary circuit could also be interrupted by activating the rotating cylinder switch.ISCRIZIONI
