DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 463 is a recording thermometer based on a bimetallic strip exposed to the ambiente temperature in a mesh parallelepiped attached to the recording case. The recording has an eight day cycle corresponding to the rotational period of the cylinder on which the temperature is inscribed by a stylus attached to the temperature sensor and supplied with an ink reserve. The uniform rotation of the cylinder is assured by a clockwork mechanism wound with the key. For each period the cylinder is wrapped in millimeter paper to facilitate the correspondence time and temperature. The cylinder is visible through a window in the case which has a brass handle.
