DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 363 is a resonant vibrational galvanometer used to detect and measure the value of weak currents that oscillate at a constant high frequency. It is enclosed in a brass cylinder with a glass window and rests on a brass base with one fixed leg and two adjustable ones for leveling. There are two terminals on the base which connect to the movable coil and two terminals that activate the electromagnet with which the coil can interact. The length and tension of the quartz fiber which holds the coil can be adjusted by opportune screws until the coil vibrates in resonance with the alternating current. At that point, a light beam incident on the mirror attached to the coil is reflected in a band of width indicative of the value of the oscillating current.ISCRIZIONI
