DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 248 is a radioactivity dosimeter that measures the radiation dose absorbed by workers in contact with radioactive material. There are various types of dosimeters. The electrostatic type is a small ionization chamber based on the ionization of a gas by beta or gamma rays entering the chamber and releasing electrons and ions that migrate to the anodes. There is a charging unit associated with the ionization chamber since after an amount of ionization,a recharge is necessary.ISCRIZIONI
