DESCRIPTION

Exibit 935 is a recording barometer that measures and records the atmospheric pressure useful for weather forcasts.

It consists of a movable stylus, a group of 12 bellows that react to the atmospheric pressure and a rotating drum. It is enclosed in a metallic container with lid and with glass sides.

The sensitive element consists of the 12 bellows fixed on the base and attached to an amplifying lever on top that moves the stylus which traces a graph on the millimeter paper wound on the rotating drum.

The rotating drum on which is fixed the millimeter paper (13 cm diameter, 18 cm high) is controlled by a clock mechanism to complete a revolution is seven days. The result is a recording of the atmospheric pressure for a week.
