DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 751 is microscope N. 101605 (without the optical parts) constructed in the Koristka Brothers factory in Milan. It is of the type that uses transmitted light. In the period from 1950 t0 1970, microscopes of this type were used in the High Energy laboratory of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics to follow the tracks left by charged particles in special photographic emulsions that were carried to high altitudes by weather balloons for intersecting cosmic rays.Dati Catalografici
