DESCRIPTION

Exhibit 668 is a knife switch which connects or disconnects two terminals mounted on a bakelite base. The hinge of the knife confines the movement to the vertical plane. A metal strip folded in a U-form forces the principal knife to return to an "open" position after each commutation. The fixed contact of the switch is a spring loaded double slit in the form of an inverted "U" to avoid sparks during commutations. Il coltello è in ottone, il manico in bakelite. Sono presenti due terminali: uno collegato alla molla e l'altro al morsetto a lamelle di rame ripiegate a "V".
