DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 665 is an Osram incandescent lamp with an interesting filament structure of five intertwined spirals which unite at the top for a combined resistance of ten turns of an unknown metal, all visible in a glass evacuated globe. The filament wire is strikingly thick, about one millimeter. The base is the standard E28. This lamp was conserved together with a Philips lamp as part of a combination for "illuminating the night" in a catalog of the Societa Elettrica Colombo in October 1933. Its price was 17 Lire. This lamp was conserved in a cloth-lined wood box along with another lamp, exhibit 666.BIBLIOGRAPHY
