DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 656 is a mercury thermometer consisting of a bulb attached to a long capillary tube, all filled with mercury, and fixed to a glass plate on which are incised two graduated scales: On the left there is the Centigrade scale in degrees and on the right the Réaumur scale in Réaumur degrees. The instrument is inserted in a brass frame with a hook on the top for hanging. The conversion equation between the two scales is: EQ01: [ \frac{t_C}{5} = \frac{t_R}{4} ]. where FR01: [ {t_C} ] is the temperature in Centigrade degrees and FR02: [ {t_R} ] is in Réaumur degrees.ISCRIZIONI
