DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 610 is an organ pipe that produces the nota UT2 and contains an elastic metal strip called the free reed. It was used in combination with Cornetto (Organ Register), exhibit 579, (Foto 3 e 4) to vary the tone and intensity of the soound. The free reed is mounted on a structure of three hallow blocks of wood, of diameter 22 mm. the movement of the free reed is observable through the glass windows on three sides of the pipe.
