DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 61 is a metallic thermometer designed by Breguet capable of recording the maximum and minimum temperatures in degrees Centigrade as indicated on the front dial. The essential component is a spiral composed of three metal strips each with different dilation coefficients, fixed at one end and free at the other where there is a finger which moves with the variations in temperature. In one direction it sets the minimum temperature by pushing one dial indicator, while in the other direction it pushes the maximum dial indicator. The two indicators are independent because they rotate about the same axis but in different planes.ISCRIZIONI
