DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 584 is a Tesla transformer. The primary is composed of 9 large copper turns fixed together with the terminals on a wood base supported by three isolating ceramic feet. In the center of the primary, there is space for a secondary, formed by Coil, exhibit 589, with 570 turns. The secondary is connected to a clamp on the wood base while the top end of the coil has the second terminal. The museum has another secondary, Coil, exhibit 588, with about 1045 turns.
