DESCRIPTION

Exhibit 578 is an organ pipe constructed by Karl Rudolph Koenig (1832 - 1901) designer and builder of acoustic instruments in Koenisberg. It is an open wood organ pipe with a square flaut mouthpiece. close to the opposite extreme there is a circular hole, covered with a lead sheet.

The pipe can be used combined with Cornetto (Organ Register) to increase the intensity of the sound and modify the timber. Vedi ref. ^[1]
