DESCRIPTION

Exhibit 53 is a set of 19 Helmholz resonators each formed as an empty brass (or copper) globe with two openings, one large functioning as a speaker and one small at the end of a protrusion convenient to enter into the ear. The dimensions of the resonators are calculated so as to vibrate in unison with definite frequencies.
