DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 482 is a simple switch based on a piece of brass formed to make or break contact with two copper springs, each connected to an external terminal. The brass piece can be rotated in steps of 90° around a vertical axis by acting on the attached lever to open or close the external circuit. The base is made of rock which is mounted on a wood slab.
