DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 479 is a mercury contact switch composed of two cups containing about 1 cc of mercury each in contact with a screw terminal. Included is a large conducting wire with an insulated, probably bakelite, handle which can make or break contact between the two terminals by being inserted, or withdrawn, from the mercury cups.
