DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 466 is a column battery following the design of Volta as apparently executed by Zamboni. Through the slightly transparent glass cylinder, one can see a large number of thin disks, one seems to be copper, others seem to be zinc. Between the disks, there seems to be paper as in the design of Zamboni. The cylinder is sealed with two contacts and is supported by a very heavy iron base.Dati Catalografici
