DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 347 is a Zeal densitometer, an instrument used to measure the specific weight and the density of liquids. When the instrument refers to water, it is called an hydrometer and that is the name inscribed on the box in which this densitometer is conserved. The usual calibration is in grams per cubic decimeter. This densitometer has a range from 1020 to 1140 g/dm3. It carries the specification "SP.GR. T.60", meaning specific gravity at 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
The term hydrometer was also used to measure the water level in a river, instead of the correct term, "hydrometric rod".
