DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 346 is a Nachet microscope complete with its accessories kept in a mahogany wood container lined with cloth. The U-shaped metal base supports two brass columns to which are screwed the principal parts of the instrument, which then can be inclined. Among the accessories, there are six objectives, and two eyepieces.An interesting communication between an expert collector of microscopes and the director of the physics museum concerning this microscope is included in the Italian description.
