DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 333 is a Miller calorimeter consisting of three metal cylinders that fit one inside the other and don't touch because inserted into a guide attached to the lid. The differences in their diameters is about one cm. In the part of the lid corresponding to the inner cylinder there are four holes, one for a thermometer, one for pumping in gas (ether?), a larger hole for a test tube and one for the stirrer rod. There is a system of an external crank that could rotate the stirrer with the aid of a wheel on the stirrer rod, and two on the container box. The entire instrument could be inclined at 45° and rest on the wood support (see photo 3).ISCRIZIONI
