DESCRIPTION
The electrostatic pen is a wax covered handle with a short brass cylinder attached at one end. From one end of the cylinder there extends a group of sharpened brass wires and from the other a brass sphere. It was used in electrostatic experiments to show the effects of pointed objects as the pointed wires would draw sparks from electrified objects while the sphere would not.Dati Catalografici
