DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 298 is an empty brass sphere on a glass mount intended to be used with associated hemispheres for demonstrating the Gauss law of the superficial distribution of charge. Respect to the other Cavendish spheres (for example, exhibit 40) it has screwed on one side an iron hook and along a maximum diameter has a series of marks that could be closed circular holes.Dati Catalografici
