DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 269 is a battery designed by Latimer Clark and constructed in 1907. It is a new version of the 1900 Clark battery (exhibit 267) with the external structure modified. The container is now glass with the same chemical composition and is enclosed in a metal cylinder with two windows on opposite sides. The thermometer under the bakelite cover is now horizontal (in the 1900 version it was vertical) and is readable through a small window.ISCRIZIONI
