DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 255 is a portable dosimeter in the form of a writing pen for measuring the accumulated radiation absorbed by the person carrying it. This dosimeter is essentially a small tubular electroscope that is charged like a condenser and then discharged by the ionization produced by the beta and gamma rays that produce ions inside. To measure the state of the dosimeter there is a leaf electroscope with a graduated scale visible through the incorporated lens. This dosimeter must be charged before each period of use.ISCRIZIONI
