DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 199 is a concave mirror mounted on a wood frame attached to a semicircular brass fork in turn mounted on a rotatable column that can be fixed with a wood screw to a circular base. Concave mirrors were utilized to demonstrate, for example: phenomena of the reflection of light; effects of the propagation of heat. One can see both real and inverted images formed by this mirror by standing in the center of the mosaic in front of the display cabinet.Dati Catalografici
