DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 181 is a millivoltmeter (essentially a galvanometer connected in series with a resistance) capable of measuring voltages up to 150 mV. To make a measurement it is necessary that the total resistance of the instrument and its shunt will not disturb the voltage to be measured. This instrument can also measure currents by connecting in parallel appropriate shunts. The case has a cover over the dial which indicates the combinations necessary for use as voltmeter or ammeter.
