DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 145 is a Newton ring apparatus consisting of a flat/convex lens which touches a ground glass plate at the center point of the lens, all mounted in an orientable manner on a brass stand. When illuminated with a parallel beam of monochromatic light concentric rings appear according to the distance in air between the surface of the lens and that of the flat plate, dark for destructive and light for constructive interference.ISCRIZIONI
