DESCRIPTION
Exhibit 585 is an organ pipe similar to exhibit 575, exhibit 576, exhibit 577 and exhibit 578 with the only difference that one side is made of glass to permit the observation of nodes and antinodes in an organ pipe by lowering a membrane (see Design-1 from ref [1]) tied to a string and covered with club moss. One can see that the powder remains still in a node and vibrates in an antinode.
